With the introduction of a new product line of long stroke tactile switches, Omron moves further ahead of the competition. The B3AL product range offers an incredible performance based on a life expectancy of at least 1 Million operations.

The innovative design of these tactile switches makes it possible to meet high operating forces up to 3.5N and still achieve an excellent quiet operation.

For frequent use in standard environments Omron also focused on the dust proof level of this new product. Internal test results confirm a good performance that makes the switch suitable for many applications like automotive instrument panels and user interfaces in Home Appliances.

This switch is available in 4 types based on the required operating force: 1.96N, 2.45N, 3.0N or 3.5N and will be supplied in reel packaging for automated PCB mounting.

The B3AL fully meets the stringent reflow soldering temperature profiles needed for todays production processes and all components are lead-free and ROHS compliant.
